We are happy to introduce the latest addition to our global distributor network – Forest Energy Inc.
Forest Energy is a biomass power plant developer and operator in Japan. The company has a history with 5 MW and 20 MW biomass power plants and is now focusing on the smaller segment, which in Japan means under 2 MW power production. Forest Energy has already partnered with Syncraft Engineering (Austria) for 500 kW CHPs and Cortus Energy (Sweden) for 2 MW CHPs.
According to Mr Shingo Numa, the CEO of Forest Energy Inc., diversified power generation and usage of heat have become a big issue in Japan. Like Finland, 68,5% of Japan is covered by forest. Small biomass CHP like Volter 40 is a perfect solution for their needs.
Prospects for Volter CHP system and renewable energy production in Japan are promising.
– Japan is still at an early stage of small biomass CHP development, and many small communities are looking for good reference cases. 2019 will be an important year for us to exhibit good user case of Volter 40 CHP system, says Mr Numa.
Warmly welcome onboard, team Forest Energy!
