We are pleased to announce that in the first quarter of this year, we have opened a subsidiary in Ontario, Canada. Volter’s CEO, Jarno Haapakoski, is starting as the CEO of Volter Canada. Jarno will be on site in Canada to ramp-up the business, hire local people and transfer know-how before coming back to Finland in approximately one year.
Furthermore, Laura Eräpuro-Piila has been appointed as the vice president of Volter and will be working as the CEO of Volter Finland during Jarno’s stay in Canada. Laura has 3,5 years of experience as the head of Volter’s production and purchasing, playing a significant role in Volter’s success in the past few years. Previously she has worked in production planning at Nanso Group Oy. Laura has an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu.
With these administrative changes, we are confident that Volter continues the positive development of our operations as well as in existing as in new markets. Team Volter congratulates both Laura and Jarno for their new positions and wishes all the best in their new challenges!
